PlayStation Plus coming to PS Vita on the 19th of October!

Sony announced during the Tokyo Game Show that it was releasing a new firmware update (v2.00) for it’s PS Vita on the 19th of October. The main feature of this update is the PlayStation Plus service, which is Sony’s premium subscription service, allowing users to access the instant game collection features of that of the PS3.

Ounce users update to version 2.00, if subscribed to PSPlus, they will be able to download the instant game collection which include the following:

  • Uncharted: Golden Abyss
  • Jet Set Radio HD
  • WipEout 2048
  • Gravity Rush and Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack!
  • Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions
